Summer Visitors: cousins!

The Broadheads came to town in August so that Maura could be baptized near both sides of her extended family. Maura is the oldest grandchild on the Boynton side and quite a remarkable young girl. We love her so much (though Milo may be on be on the obsessive side of the boat) and we were all so glad to be there for her special day!

Very cute family.

The after-gathering!

Tom, the Pied Piper!

The boys had fun decorating their own cookies while I prepared my dessert contribution, but now I know why I've never tried Martha's sugar cookies before! These babies ended up taking me a full  two days...very fun, but word to the wise: don't try tripling the batter on your first attempt at "Martha" anything.

We joined them for a few more adventures the following week and had a blast!

Thanksgiving Point Gardens:
(Very hot and very beautiful!)

Stewart Falls:
(My apologies to poor Grammy and Grampa who took Elliot  under their wings when my patience could not stand on its own.)

How we love cousins (and aunts and uncles too...)!
